‘no, I am not a stick’

There could be million of these creatures in the trees near my tent and I don’t think I’d be able to find one. This little guy (about 8 cm long) fell from a gum tree onto my rear wiper blade. He had me completely fooled until I tried to brush him off. He had very sticky feet and wouldn’t budge. Then his little antennae popped up and his true nature was revealed. Amazing!

  2. What a cool picture! I stared at the picture and thought, “neat shot of wood” lol! Then read what you said. I wouldn’t have caught the antennae in a million years. That’s pretty poor on my part. Just shows I need work on my seeing! Thanks for this Kirsty!
