I am reposting yesterday’s photo in black and white. Thanks to http://fundamentaljelly.com/ for the suggestion. I spent many years working in black and white (yes with film and smelly chemicals – so romantic). I still love the power of a monochrome image. I will write a longer post about this soon.

  1. This is absolutely beautiful in b&w. Before digital, years ago when I had my own darkroom, I preferred black and white.

    • My first born child (now 18) is longing to get into a darkroom. I am about to pass on my old Nikon F2 to her. All the young photographers I know long to work with film. There’s nothing like the magic of the darkroom is there?

  2. Sweet. The B&W gives it a totally different feel. And thanks for the shout-out.
